This is a contrast between the darkness of death and the beauty of darkness. Humans don't need to fit into just one mould, and those moulds can be on polar opposite sides, or even contradictory and still work.

This piece, just like myself, is feminine and masculine. To some people creepy, to others beautiful. We as humans are strong but also vulnerable. I combined soft and feminine colours and florals with a dark and masculine representation of a skull.

If we remove all of our expectations and stop fitting into the certain moulds we set for ourselves from our society, we can allow for a free-flow of energy between humans. We are all the same underneath. There is beauty in the darkness. You just need to open your mind to see it.
